Luke Whelan-Gonzales graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2020. He was awarded the W.P. Carey Outstanding Graduating Senior Award, the Trailblazer Award, and graduated on the Dean's List. During his time at ASU Luke learned to serve his peers diligently, becoming a director position in the Residential Hall Association and quickly being promoted to the Executive Director position, which he filled for 3 years. He was also the Business college representative as the W.P. Carey Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government. Luke is a self-proclaimed busybody who always wants something to do or work towards so his involvement continued.
Luke graduated with honors from Barrett, the Honors College, and was also an honor's devil (Exceptional Student Leader/ Mentor). Proud of his Hispanic heritage, he helped found the Hispanic Outreach and Latin Awareness club in his junior year. Still, Luke wanted to do more and since he has always had a knack for business and networking, he helped develop the Business Ambassadors club on the Polytechnic campus. He was able to accomplish all this while graduating with a Bachelor's degree from the W.P.Carey School of Business and a minor from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
